Bohemian HR Newsletter

Hello! Welcome to the first edition of Bohemian HR News.

Creating a newsletter has been on my to do list for as long as I can remember. Its one of those tasks that needs time and creativity and then following on from that consistency. I am proud of the HR community I am part of and have nurtured over the last 20 + years and really want to increase the communication and also support I can offer.

I see this newsletter as a place to share news including new jobs, upcoming masterclasses, HR trends, job search tips, positivity and good news.

This is a newsletter for you, so any feedback, ideas or input is welcome!

Thank you

Bohemian HR Masterclasses

2024 saw the beginning of Bohemian HR Masterclasses. We created these to deliver added value to our HR Community.

Up next: The Interim Development Programme with David Moore

This online Taster Session of the Interim Development Programme identifies methods to secure new interim assignments and highlights some of the mistakes made by executives entering the interim sector.

So, if you are an experienced CPO or HR Director considering an interim career, or perhaps you’re already working as an interim HR Executive and you wish to develop and improve your approach to securing future assignments - this will be a great session for you.

New Jobs - Highlands

You may have seen my LinkedIn posts about 2 new roles I am advertising based in the Highlands.

I am working with a large engineering organisation going through significant change. The commitment of this organisation to their people is second to none which is illustrated by their investment in these 2 new roles.

These roles are based North of Inverness. We are looking for an ER/IR Specialist and an HR Manager (C&B, DE&I and Wellbeing).

This is an opportunity for someone who is already based in the highlands, or looking for the chance to make a move to some of the most beautiful parts of Scotland. These opportunities are potentially life changing - it is rural though so not for everyone!

The jobs are paying £70-75k

How Love and Loss has Changed Who I am Today

I am attending the Evolving HR Conference in November as both a sponsor and a storyteller

This is a huge step forward, I have not spoken on stage before, and definitely not to 150 people! ‘How Love and Loss has Changed Who I am Today’ is a story that has been in my head for a while, and I want to share in the hope that it helps and inspires others.

To help me prepare I invested in the ‘Amplify Your Impact’ course developed and ran by Emma Djemil - the course has been so much more than presentation skills, its about you, your vision, your passion and how you want to show up in this world. I cannot recommend it enough.

Bohemian HR Inspirations

We are about to start a video series where I interview ‘ordinary HR people doing extraordinary things’ separate to their day jobs.

If this is you, or you know someone, please send me an email: jenny@bohemianhr.com
